Maher Zain- Open Your Eyes.

As-Salamu Alaykum brothers and sisters,
In the Name Of ALLAH (Subhanahu wa ta'ala) the Most Gracious The Most Merciful:
Look around yourself
Can’t you see this wonder
Spread infront of you
The clouds floating by
The skies so clear and blue
Planets in their orbits
The moon and the sun
Such perfect harmony

Let’s start questioning ourselves
Isn’t this proof enough for us
Or are we so blind
To push it all aside..
No..

We just have to
Open our eyes, our hearts, and minds
If we just look bright we'll see the signs
We can’t keep hiding from the truth and
Let it take us by surprise
Take us in the best way
(Allah..)
Guide us every single day..
(Allah..)
Keep us close to You
Until the end of time..

Look inside yourself
Such perfect order
Hiding in yourselves
Running in your veins
What about anger, love and pain
And all the things you’re feeling
Can you touch them with your hand?
So are they really there?

Let's start questioning ourselves
Isn’t this proof enough for us?
Or are we so blind
To push it all aside..?
No..

We just have to
Open our eyes, our hearts, and minds
If we just look bright to see the signs
We can’t keep hiding from the truth and
Let it take us by surprise
Take us in the best way
(Allah..)
Guide us every single day..
(Allah..)
Keep us close to You
Until the end of time..

When a baby’s born
So helpless and weak
And you’re watching him growing..
So why deny
What's in front of your eyes
The biggest miracle of life..

We just have to
Open our eyes, our hearts, and minds
If we just look bright we’ll see the signs
We can’t keep hiding from the truth and
Let it take us by surprise
Take us in the best way
(Allah..)
Guide us every single day..
(Allah..)
Keep us close to You
Until the end of time..

Open your eyes your heart and mind
If you just look bright to see the signs
We can’t keep hiding from the truth and
Let it take us by surprise
Take us in the best way
(Allah..)
Guide us every single day..
(Allah..)
Keep us close to You
Until the end of time..

Allah..
You created everything
We belong to You
Ya Rabb we raise our hands
Forever we thank You..
Alhamdulillah..

Staying up late.....a disease of modern times

As-Salamu Alaykum brothers and sisters,
In the Name Of ALLAH (Subhanahu wa ta'ala) the Most Gracious The Most Merciful:

They roam the streets when everyone is asleep. Or they may hang out with friends all night at the local 'hookah place'. Or if they have nothing to do, some of them may even 'egg' some poor unsuspecting person's house....'just because'. And if they are not 'out there', they are indoors, up until the wee hours of the morning, watching movies, listening to music, playing video games or chatting on the Internet, just because it's 'summer vacation'.
Yes, that's right, brothers and sisters, that's our youth during the summer.

And even when it is not summer, they stay up late even then. They think it is 'cool' to do so.
And, unfortunately, this 'disease of late nights' has become so widespread that we, as parents, don't think much of it either. In fact, many of us adults are afflicted with this same disease ourselves. We come back from parties and dinners late at night and we let our kids do the same.

However what we don't realize is..... that's not how Allah Subhaanahu wa Ta'ala intended the order of things. In fact, it is quite contrary to the natural rhythm which Allaah has created in the universe and in mankind. Allaah says:

"It is He who has appointed the night a covering for you and sleep for a rest. The day He has appointed for rising." (Surah Furqaan: 47)

Thus, the night is created for rest and the day for work and for seeking provision. Yet we do the exact opposite. We are up at night and sleep late into the day, sometimes, up to or even beyond Dhuhr time, and waste much precious time. 'Umar Radhi Allaahu Anhu used to punish people the people who did this and say: 'You stay up for the first part of the night, then sleep for the last part of it?'".

If we look at how the righteous before us spent their nights, we realize that they used their nights as a means to earning Jannah; praying, reciting the Qur'aan, crying and supplicating to Allaah. However, some of us Muslims, today take their nights as a means of entertainment and fun and even, aaoodhu billaah, a means of haraam and sin.

Actually, the Prophet (Sal Allaahu Alaiyhi wa Sallam) himself, did not like to stay up or even speak after Ishaa.
"The Prophet (Sal Allaahu Alaiyhi wa Sallam) used to like to delay the 'Ishaa' prayer and he hated to sleep before it or talk after it". (Bukhaari).
He also disapproved of staying up late and warned against it.

He (Sal Allaahu Alaiyhi wa Sallam) said: "Beware of staying up after people's movements settle."

Why did he do that? Because staying up late might cause many harms. Some of them are:

1. It may cause one to totally miss the Fajr prayer
The Prophet (Sal Allaahu Alaiyhi wa Sallam) said: "Between a man and kufr and shirk, there stands his giving up prayer." (Muslim)

2. Even if you do wake up for Fajr, it is extremely hard to concentrate in the prayer or even know what one is saying.

3. Staying up late causes health problems, exhaustion, weakness, and loss of enthusiasm.
The Prophet (Sal Allaahu Alaiyhi wa Sallam) said: "Staying up late is tiring and burdensome." (Daarimi, Tabaraani, others)

4. It also leads to lack of responsibility and laziness, as it is extremely difficult to wake up early for school, job, etc. if you are up half the night. The person ends up sleeping late into the day, missing his work, and slacking in responsibility.
Al-Fudayl ibn 'Iyaad said: There are two qualities that harden the heart: sleeping too much and eating too much.

5. We also miss out on the most blessed part of the day is the early morning. The Prophet (Sal Allaahu Alaiyhi wa sallam) said:
"The early morning has been blessed for my Ummah."(Saheeh al-Jaami').
That's why whenever the Prophet (Sal Allaahu Alaiyhi wa sallam) sent out troops or an army, he would send them at the beginning of the day. But by sleeping late, we lose the blessings of this time and the profits we could have gained.

6. If we don't sleep early, we can't wake up in time for qiyaam ul-lail, a time for prayer, making dua and seeking forgiveness from Allaah, as the Prophet (Sal Allaahu Alaiyhi wa Sallam) said:
"Our Lord descends every night to the heavens when there is only one third of the night remaining and says: Who is supplicating to me so that I can respond to him? Who is asking Me for something so that I can grant him that which he is asking for? Who is seeking My forgiveness so that I can forgive him"(Bukhaari, Muslim)

Is it befitting that we, as Muslims, miss this honorable and virtuous time and waste it either sleeping or  following our desires?

7. Staying up late is also a major reason behind many of the moral crimes, community problems, car accidents, etc.

.Exceptions to the rule:
The Ulama say that staying up late unnecessarily is nothing but a bad habit, unless it serves a purpose, such as praying and worshipping Allaah, seeking knowledge of Islaam, a person's job, traveling, students preparing for exams, or other beneficial or permissible matters.

The Prophet (Sal Allaahu Alaiyhi wa Sallam) said: "Staying up late is for one of three categories of people; those traveling, those praying the night prayers, or those on their wedding night." (Abu Ya'laa).

What Islaam encourages us to do is to sleep early, preferably right after Ishaa, then wake up early in time for
our prayers (Fajr and Tahajjud, if possible) and then take advantage of the blessings of early morning for our work and provision. We are also encouraged to take a nap during the day, either before Dhuhr or after, if we are able to.
The Prophet (Sal Allaahu Alaiyhi wa Sallam) said:
"Take a nap, for the shayaateen do not take naps." (al-Tabaraani--Saheeh).
Ishaaq ibn 'Abd-Allaah said: "Taking a nap is one of the deeds of good people. It revitalizes the heart and helps one to pray qiyaam al-layl."

Brothers and sisters, realize that staying up late is a diseased lifestyle that takes one away from the religion of Allaah and encourages the following of ones lusts and desires. One should avoid it unless there is a legitimate reason for it. Not only should we keep our kids away from it, we ourselves need to break this bad habit and develop healthy lifestyles and wholesome ways.

May Allaah enable us to realize the harms and evils of staying up late. May He enable us to utilize our time in the most productive manner, that is most pleasing to Him. Ameen.

WOMEN OF PURITY ARE FOR MEN OF PURITY AND MEN OF PURITY ARE FOR WOMEN OF PURITY - AL NOOR: NOBLE QURAN

As-Salamu Alaykum brothers and sisters,
In the Name Of ALLAH (Subhanahu wa ta'ala) the Most Gracious The Most Merciful:
My Dear Beloved Sisters in Faith ,
I was into this dilemma of how to express my concerns for you, in this issue.. this issue holds grave importance in current times, i really did not wantto poke my head into this but was forced to do so due to some personal experiences. Very Disturbing experiences which i don't like to share, but what I'm trying to illustrate in my note is the importance of modesty among us especially u dear sisters _ I will begin with certain ayath from the book of ALLAH ( the most Exalted & most High)  ♥
I seek refuge with ALLAH from shaita'n , the cursed one •
In the name of ALLAH , the extraordinarily Merciful, the ever Merciful , Surah Al Noor : ♥

Tell the believing men to lower their gaze (from looking at forbidden things), and protect their private parts (from illegal sexual acts). That is purer for them. Verily, Allâh is All-Aware of what they do. (30)

And tell the believing women to lower their gaze (from looking at forbidden things), and protect their private parts (from illegal sexual acts) and not to show off their adornment except only that which is apparent (like both eyes for necessity to see the way or outer dress like veil, gloves, head-cover, apron, etc.), and to draw their veils all over Juyubihinna (i.e. their bodies, faces, necks and bosoms,) and not to reveal their adornment except to their husbands, or their fathers, or their husband's fathers, or their sons, or their husband's sons, or their brothers or their brother's sons, or their sister's sons, or their (Muslim) women (i.e. their sisters in Islâm), or the (female) slaves whom their right hands possess, or old male servants who lack vigour, or small children who have no sense of the feminine sex. And let them not stamp their feet so as to reveal what they hide of their adornment. And all of you beg Allâh to forgive you all, O believers, that you may be successful[] (31)

[Al Noor : Noble Quran] ♥

This is the Command of ALLAH ( the most Exalted & most High)  ♥ My Sisters must understand that , the men are created weak, they need ur support to stay productive, and it is basic courtesy to abide by the rules ALLAH ( the most Exalted & most High) laid down for our own productivity. It is honestly a great distraction for a pure Man, when he see's a beautiful face, sure disturbs Him , and affects his productivity ♥ We get so desensitized to it that we don't find the big deal in it , when ALLAH ( the most Exalted & most High) Tells us these things. Women have to understand that the Men's attraction towards the women is unlike that of theirs' towards men, ALLAH ( the most Exalted & most High) says :

♥  “Beautified for men is the Love of things they covet; women, children, much of gold and silver (wealth), branded beautiful horses, cattle and well-tilled land. This is the pleasure of the present world’s Life; but Allaah has the excellent return (Paradise with flowing rivers) with Him.” [3: 14]♥

Subhan ALLAH ( the most Exalted & most High)  the no. 1 fitnah ALLAH ( the most Exalted & most High)  mentioned here as what men covet is the Women . you should understand this and help ur brothers channelize their desires in the most noblest of manners. Sure will be rewarded a lot. I am refering in general modesty as well as about uploading your pictures to facebook, do you have any idea, in what all ways do people look at you. it pathetic . You ll be answerable to all the disturbance u caused to the people who see it. don't think lightly of the matter, it stabs a brother, a father, a husband to find out that their own sister, daughter , wife is being looked at as an object rather than a human being. ♥
If you want respect and not to be bothered please follow the teachings of our creator, we have blessed  with a beautiful way of life, Alhamdulillahi Rubbil Alameen.♥  Lets not be ashamed to wear our Hijab, lets not give silly excuses any more , It is obviously hard to do it, Do u know why , because when u do , You are a Walking Talking , Symbol of Our Beautiful Deen ♥  , & Shaitan ( may ALLAH protect us from his harm) will work overtime to make u slip, loose patience, He ll bring up ur closest people to come and ask you , are u mad ? take that thing off , kind a thing :| , its a fact. I would'nt make this boring anymore I ll end with a beautiful verse from ALLAH's Book ♥

♥ If Allâh helps you, none can overcome you; and if He forsakes you, who is there after Him that can help you? And in Allâh (Alone) let believers put their trust. (160) [The Family of Imran , Surah 3]

ALLAH (Subhanahu wa ta'ala) takes an oath by time...Verily Mankind is in LOSS.

As-Salamu Alaykum brothers and sisters,
In the Name Of ALLAH (Subhanahu wa ta'ala) the Most Gracious The Most Merciful:
Our Time in this duniya is running out .. we all know dat, and we have clear , Strong warning from ALLAH the granter of this Blessing ( Time ) . Surah Al-Asr
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By Al-'Asr (the time). (1) Verily, man is in loss, (2) Except those who believe (in Islâmic Monotheism) and do righteous good deeds, and recommend one another to the truth ,(i.e. order one another to perform all kinds of good deeds (Al-Ma'ruf) which Allâh has ordained, and abstain from all kinds of sins and evil deeds (Al-Munkar) which Allâh has forbidden), and recommend one another to patience (for the sufferings, harms, and injuries which one may encounter in Allâh's Cause during preaching His religion of Islâmic Monotheism or Jihâd). (3)

Subhan ALLAH , HE (subhanahu wa ta'ala) puts forward 4 conditions in this Surah in conditional clause one after the other, all of these four together without leaving out any is the bare minimum to save ourself from the fire of Hell ( as explained by the eminent mufasireen ) its about plain survival here, its not about attaining higher rewards or higher levels in Paradise. the one who meets these gets barely passing marks.. once our survival is in danger we dont think of anything else folks, our first and foremost job is to get out of that situation. and that exactly what dis surah warns us.
this is one of the best tafsir on this surah that is available out there. this is possibly life changing too inshaALLAH, but its a must watch for every one who believes that our time is running out. and considers themself human. Atleast watch the first four parts that gives an outline of this surah .

17 parts total, MUST WATCH!

Idol Worship, the Unforgivable Sin

As-Salamu Alaykum brothers and sisters,
In the Name Of ALLAH (Subhanahu wa ta'ala) the Most Gracious The Most Merciful:

What is the meaning of idol worship?

A simple definition of idol worship is to believe that anything beside God can help us, or to hold something as more important to us than God. Thus if we hold our property (for example) as more important than God /or give our jobs more time and attention than God - we are committing idol worship. Unfortunately, the majority of people who believe in God commit this gross offense without even realizing it. If you ask them, "Who is your god?", they will be outraged to hear this question. "What do you mean, `Who is your god?' they will ask, `My god is the Creator of the heavens and the earth.' " And most of these people will be shocked to find out that their proclamation that their god is the Creator of the heavens and the earth is no more than lip service, and that they are in fact destined for Hell (12:106). Idol worship is a gross injustice, the violation of the first commandment in all the scriptures of God, and is an unforgivable sin if maintained until death.
[31:13] Recall that Luqmaan said to his son, as he enlightened him, "O my son, do not set up any idols beside GOD; idolatry is a gross injustice."*
Footnote: *31:13 How will you feel if you take care of a child, give him the best education, and prepare him for life, only to see him thank someone else? Thus is idolatry; injustice.
[12:106] The majority of those who believe in GOD do not do so without committing idol worship.
(sub-title) The Unforgivable Sin
[4:48] GOD does not forgive idolatry,* but He forgives lesser offenses for whomever He wills. Anyone who sets up idols beside GOD, has forged a horrendous offense.
Footnote: *4:48 Idol worship is not forgivable, if maintained until death. One can always repent from any offense, including idolatry, before death comes (see 4:18 & 40:66).
(sub-title) The Unforgivable Sin
[4:116] GOD does not forgive idol worship (if maintained until death),* and He forgives lesser offenses for whomever He wills. Anyone who idolizes any idol beside GOD has strayed far astray.

God tells us that idol worship nullifies all work

Any work we do, if not devoted absolutely to God, does not serve to grow our souls. On the day of Resurrection, if our souls have not grown strong enough to withstand the presence of God - we will have to forsake God's kingdom on our own volition. Everything we have done in this world will be nullified.
[39:65] It has been revealed to you, and to those before you that if you ever commit idol worship, all your works will be nullified, and you will be with the losers.
The natural instinct of monotheism that God has placed in us ( 30:30; to make it easier for us to choose the right path) commands us to dedicate our worship to God Alone, and not associate anything with God. All places of worship should be dedicated to God Alone. Belief in God includes the understanding that He alone is worthy of worship.
[72:18] The places of worship belong to GOD; do not call on anyone else beside GOD.
Many so-called Muslims commit mistake by associating Muhammad with God at the places of worship, and by upholding Hadith and Sunna falsely attributed to prophet Muhammad. For example, mentioning the names of Abraham, Muhammad, and/or Ali in the Azan and/or the Salat prayers violates God's commandments in 2:136, 2:285, 3:84, & 72:18. Unfortunately, this is a common idolatrous practice throughout the corrupted Muslim world. Many Christians commit this same mistake by exalting Jesus to the same level as God, or sometimes by even calling him God. This is idol worship. In Matthew 7:21-23: Jesus clearly disowns those who call him “Lord.”

Types of Idols

Idol worship is not just restricted to worship of any statues or picture frames, etc. The Quran cites many forms of idol worship.

1. Calf, statues as idols.

[2:51] Yet, when we summoned Moses for forty nights, you worshiped the calf in his absence, and turned wicked.*
[21:51-53] Before that, we granted Abraham his guidance and understanding, for we were fully aware of him.* He said to his father and his people, "What are these statues to which you are devoting yourselves?" They said, "We found our parents worshiping them."

2. Worshipping other gods (is worshipping the devil).

[4:117] They even worship female gods besides Him; as a matter of fact, they only worship a rebellious devil.

3. Jesus as idol.

[5:72] Pagans indeed are those who say that GOD is the Messiah, son of Mary. The Messiah himself said, "O Children of Israel, you shall worship GOD; my Lord* and your Lord." Anyone who sets up any idol beside GOD, GOD has forbidden Paradise for him, and his destiny is Hell. The wicked have no helpers.

4. Jinns as idols.

[6:100] Yet, they set up beside GOD idols from among the jinns, though He is the One who created them. They even attribute to Him sons and daughters, without any knowledge. Be He glorified. He is the Most High, far above their claims.

5. Children as idols.

[7:190] But when He gives them a good baby, they turn His gift into an idol that rivals Him. GOD be exalted, far above any partnership.

6. Humans as idols.

[7:194] The idols you invoke besides GOD are creatures like you. Go ahead and call upon them; let them respond to you, if you are right.

7. "Intercessors" as Idols. From the Quran, it is obvious - there is no intercession by anyone on the Day of Judgment.

[10:18] They worship beside GOD idols that possess no power to harm them or benefit them, and they say, "These are our intercessors at GOD!" Say, "Are you informing GOD of something He does not know in the heavens or the earth?" Be He glorified. He is the Most High; far above needing partners.

8. Satan as an idol.

[14:22] And the devil will say, after the judgment had been issued, "GOD has promised you the truthful promise, and I promised you, but I broke my promise. I had no power over you; I simply invited you, and you accepted my invitation. Therefore, do not blame me, and blame only yourselves. My complaining cannot help you, nor can your complaining help me. I have disbelieved in your idolizing me. The transgressors have incurred a painful retribution."

9. Property as an idol.

[18:32-36] Cite for them the example of two men: we gave one of them two gardens of grapes, surrounded by date palms, and placed other crops between them. Both gardens produced their crops on time, and generously, for we caused a river to run through them. Once, after harvesting, he boastfully told his friend: "I am far more prosperous than you, and I command more respect from the people." When he entered his garden, he wronged his soul by saying, "I do not think that this will ever end. "Moreover, I think this is it; I do not think that the Hour (the Hereafter) will ever come to pass. Even if I am returned to my Lord, I will (be clever enough to) possess an even better one over there."
[18:42] Indeed, his crops were wiped out, and he ended up sorrowful, lamenting what he had spent on it in vain, as his property lay barren. He finally said, "I wish I never set up my property as a god beside my Lord."

10. The dead prophets, messengers and saints as idols.

[16:20-21] As for the idols they set up beside GOD, they do not create anything; they themselves were created. They are dead, not alive, and they have no idea how or when they will be resurrected.
[3:79] Never would a human being whom GOD blessed with the scripture and prophethood say to the people, "Idolize me beside GOD." Instead, (he would say), "Devote yourselves absolutely to your Lord alone," according to the scripture you preach and the teachings you learn.

11. God's servants as idols.

[18:102] Do those who disbelieve think that they can get away with setting up My servants as gods beside Me? We have prepared for the disbelievers Hell as an eternal abode.
The idol need not be an image in front of you.

12. Ego as an idol.

This is a common form of idolatry. Most humans, because of their ego cannot bring themselves to worship God, nor can they make their opinion subordinate to God's opinion spelled out in the Quran because of their ego. If we disobey God and His messenger, we are committing idol worship even though there is no image in front of us. This is because we would be giving our opinion more importance than God's words.
[25:43] Have you seen the one whose god is his own ego? Will you be his advocate?
[45:23] Have you noted the one whose god is his ego? Consequently, GOD sends him astray, despite his knowledge, seals his hearing and his mind, and places a veil on his eyes. Who then can guide him, after such a decision by GOD? Would you not take heed?

13. Upholding religious Sources other than God's words, as an idol

As a Submitter (Muslim) if we follow a source other than Quran for religious guidance it would be idolatry. The following verse makes it clear that the Quran is God's Testimony. Following any other source is defined as idolatry. Worshipping God is to obey His words only (Quran) and not the words of humans (scholars, religious leaders, mullahs, etc.).
[6:19] Say, "Whose testimony is the greatest?" Say, "GOD's. He is the witness between me and you that this Quran* has been inspired to me, to preach it to you and whomever it reaches. Indeed, you bear witness that there are other gods* beside GOD." Say, "I do not testify as you do; there is only one god, and I disown your idolatry."
Footnote: *6:19 This verse proclaims the Quran as the only source of religious guidance. Those who uphold additional sources, such as Hadith & Sunna (lies attributed to the Prophet), are defined as idolaters.

14. Religious leaders and scholars as idols.

(sub-title) Upholding the Teachings of Religious Leaders, Instead of God's Teachings
[9:31] They have set up their religious leaders and scholars as lords,* instead of GOD. Others deified the Messiah, son of Mary. They were all commanded to worship only one god. There is no god except He. Be He glorified, high above having any partners.
Footnote: *9:31 If you consult the "Muslim scholars" about worshiping God alone, and upholding the word of God alone, as taught in this proven scripture, they will advise you against it. If you consult the Pope about the identity of Jesus, he will advise you to uphold a trinity. If you obey the "Muslim scholars" whose advice is contrary to God's teachings, or if you take the Pope's advice instead of God's, you have set up these religious leaders as gods instead of God.

15. Creating sects in religion is idol worship.

The Quran forbids dividing ourselves into sects. Those who divide into sects are termed as idol worshippers.
[30:31-32] You shall submit to Him, reverence Him, observe the Contact Prayers (Salat), and - whatever you do - do not ever fall into idol worship. (Do not fall in idol worship,) like those who divide their religion into sects; each party rejoicing with what they have.

16. Dividing believers and providing comfort to those who oppose God and His messengers is practicing idol worship.

[9:107] There are those who abuse the masjid by practicing idol worship, dividing the believers, and providing comfort to those who oppose GOD and His messenger. They solemnly swear: "Our intentions are honorable!" GOD bears witness that they are liars.
Footnote: *9:107 Any masjid where the practices are not devoted absolutely to God ALONE belongs to Satan, not God.
We learn from the Quran that idols cannot judge (40:20), idols cannot create anything and are powerless (13:16, 46:4) and idols do not bring us closer to God (39:3). We learn that idolaters follow conjecture (6:148) and that idolaters deny idol worship - now & on the Day of Judgment (6:22-24).
God grants perfect security and happiness for believers who are devoted to Him alone without committing idol worship.
[6:82] Those who believe, and do not pollute their belief with idol worship, have deserved the perfect security, and they are truly guided.
[39:17] As for those who discard the worship of all idols, and devote themselves totally to GOD alone, they have deserved happiness. Give good news to My servants.

May God protect us from worshiping idols.

[14:35] Recall that Abraham said, "My Lord, …. protect me and my children from worshiping idols.
[6:162-164] Say, "My Contact Prayers (Salat), my worship practices, my life and my death, are all devoted absolutely to GOD alone, the Lord of the universe. He has no partner. This is what I am commanded to believe, and I am the first to submit." Say, "Shall I seek other than GOD as a lord, when He is the Lord of all things? No soul benefits except from its own works, and none bears the burden of another. Ultimately, you return to your Lord, then He informs you regarding all your disputes."

Watch Your Tongue

As-Salamu Alaykum brothers and sisters,
In the Name Of ALLAH (Subhanahu wa ta'ala) the Most Gracious The Most Merciful:
The believers are nothing else than brothers (in Islâmic religion). So make reconciliation between your brothers, and fear Allâh, that you may receive mercy. (10) O you who believe! Let not a group scoff at another group, it may be that the latter are better than the former; Nor let (some) women scoff at other women, it may be that the latter are better than the former, Nor defame one another, nor insult one another by nicknames. How bad is it, to insult one's brother after having Faith [i.e. to call your Muslim brother (a faithful believer) as: "O sinner", or "O wicked"]. And whosoever does not repent, then such are indeed Zâlimûn (wrong-doers). (11)
